Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia’s (UPCH’s) Life Sciences Field School is a brand new program created by our institution to offer international students the oportunity to study and acquire research experience in Peru through courses developed by the most recognized and prestigious Centers, Institutes, Labs and Professors from our University.

The courses are intended for students at advanced undergraduate or postgraduate level. The coordinators and instructors will make extensive use of the "natural classroom". Each course will employ a variety of strategies and teaching tools in the field, enriching and facilitating the educational learning experience of the participants.

The courses involve hands on field instruction, and students are tipically required to complete a small field project. Class sizes are small and enrollment in each course is limited. This provides students the opportunity of having high-level interactions with the course professors and researches.

Courses are intensive and generally 3 weeks in length. All courses will be held in English. Spanish language is strongly suggested but not required. To know if you are eligible for a course, see the "course information" section.
